Konrad Feldman is the founder and CEO of Quantcast, the audience intelligence and measurement company. Founded in 2006, Quantcast pioneered the use of machine learning to interpret digital audiences and provides solutions for publishers, brands, and agencies to understand, plan and activate audience-based media across the open internet. Prior to Quantcast, Konrad co-founded Searchspace, the leading provider of software for detecting money laundering and terrorist financing for the world’s financial services industry. Previously, Konrad was a researcher at University College London while undertaking a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence before dropping out to launch Searchspace. Feldman holds a BSc in Computer Science from University College London.

As Chief Technology Officer at Quantcast, Peter is responsible for the development of products which allow marketers and publishers to make smart choices as they buy and sell effective advertising. Prior to joining Quantcast, he spent 12 years working in the financial markets in a variety of roles in the quantitative finance sphere, including low latency pricing and portfolio analytics, culminating in a role at UBS where he was responsible for equity derivatives risk and pricing technology globally. Peter has a Ph.D. in machine learning and had a brief career in academia.

Jason Crawford, VP of Display Media at Dentsu, has nearly 20 years of planning and activation experience. At Dentsu, Jason is charged with crafting the agency’s go-to-market approach on programmatic and site direct partnerships across multiple channels and formats inclusive of native, banners, video, and audio on a number of strategic client engagements. While his core remit at iProspect is focused on display, Jason’s experience has included cross-channel digital media planning for multiple fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Amex, J&J, Bayer, Pfizer, and General Motors. At the core of his experience is building relationships with clients to position the agency as a strategic partner in helping them navigate an increasingly complicated and challenging media ecosystem.

Joella Duncan is the Director of Media Strategy for Equifax Global Consumer Solutions. She leads the media practice for North America including strategy, measurement, and optimization. Joella has worked in the digital media landscape since 2003 at advertising agencies Saatchi & Saatchi LA, Zenith Media and EP. She’s worked on a wide range of brands including Toyota National Motor Sales, Verizon, Bojangles and Georgia Pacific CPG. Her specialties include programmatic media buying, paid social media strategy, advanced attribution measurement, and data-driven buying strategies with a focus on consumer privacy. She studied Communications at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. When she’s not nerding out about data, she loves driving fast cars or playing a good game of fetch with her dogs.

Shiv Gupta Founder | U of Digital
 
Shiv began his career as a business analyst at Advertising.com, where he got hands-on experience with nascent programmatic advertising models and technology. He spent ~10 years at AOL, primarily as a sales leader on both the ad platforms and media side of the business. After moving on from AOL, Shiv served as VP of Sales at Criteo. In 2018, Shiv founded U of Digital, a digital marketing education company focused on improving the industry by offering credible, digestible, and applicable ad tech & mar tech education. In addition to working with U of Digital customers (like Google, Comcast, Quantcast, H&R Block, the IAB, and more), Shiv is a guest lecturer at several universities / MBA programs (Johns Hopkins, UC Davis, Fordham University, SF State). He is also adjunct professor at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, teaching a course on Programmatic Advertising.

Viviana Machado is a digital marketing executive with 15 years’ experience driving transformation and innovation in marketing, working for Fortune 500 brands such as The Home Depot Canada, Bank of Montreal and most recently TD Bank. In her current role as AVP Digital Marketing Capabilities & Innovation, she is tasked with improving the overall effectiveness of digital marketing across both paid and owned channels, while leveraging technology and insights to improve the customers’ online experience. She is also responsible for accelerating the bank’s ad tech across search, programmatic media, digital content and social media. Viviana holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and before Instagram even existed, she held one of top food blogger spots in Toronto, often dining her way through new and trendy restaurants and rubbing elbows with top chefs like Mark McEwan, Chuck Hughes and Jamie Oliver.
