Quantcast Hires Brendan Muller to Lead New Zealand Operations

SYDNEY, December 12, 2016 — Quantcast, a leader in applying the power of big data to digital and mobile advertising, has appointed experienced industry executive Brendan Muller to lead its New Zealand operations.

Auckland-based Muller joins Quantcast as Sales Director for the company’s New Zealand operations, having previously worked for entertainment channel Vevo and launching Exponential Interactive in 2011. Earlier, Muller worked in sales and account management roles for Yahoo! and APN News & Media.

“I was very keen to drive the programmatic advertising market in New Zealand and Quantcast is a clear leader in the field, underpinned by a robust and comprehensive technology platform that delivers great results to brand advertisers,” Muller said. “The future of digital advertising is about having access to real-time audience data and enabling advertisers to get a strong return on their overall spend. The Quantcast platform enables that, and we are activating campaigns across travel, utilities, retail, and insurance.”

Muller added that Quantcast, which delivers audience behaviour data to activate digital advertising campaigns for brands, has already picked up significant business in New Zealand since joining this quarter.

“We have the ability to gather and analyse audience data in New Zealand and deploy it into the execution and activation of always-on digital advertising campaigns,” said Muller. “We believe that brand marketers in New Zealand are increasingly understanding that they can win new customers if they apply audience data the correct way.”

The appointment of Muller coincides with dramatic growth in the company’s Australian operations, where it recently hired fifteen staff across sales, marketing, customer success, and publishing operations. The new hires take the ANZ headcount to more than forty staff.
