SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – September 25, 2006 – Quantcast announced today that co-founder Konrad Feldman will speak at the Online Media, Marketing & Advertising Conference & Expo (OMMA) at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 26. Konrad will join industry leaders at New York’s Marriot Marquis to discuss the challenges and recent advances in measuring and reaching audiences on the Web.

Konrad will join executives from Mediasmith, Nielsen, Atlas and GroupM on a panel titled “Measurement Online: Facts, Fiction and Future Work.” Directed by the editors of OMMA magazine, the conference is designed to present valuable knowledge and insights into emerging markets and trends, as well as to explore today’s best practices for online marketing and advertising.
Last week, Quantcast launched the first open Internet ratings site designed to help Web publishers and advertisers easily understand Web demographic trends. The free service categorizes hundreds of thousands of sites and their audiences according to standardized characteristics. It also enables websites to install a Quantcast measurement pixel to better reflect the demographics and purchasing power of its visitors.
Konrad comes from a background in large-scale transactional analytics. Prior to Quantcast, Konrad co-founded Searchspace, the leading vendor of enterprise financial transaction monitoring solutions. In 1999, Konrad moved to the US from the UK to establish Searchspace’s US operations and was CEO of Searchspace Corp. until 2005. During this time Searchspace grew to be the largest vendor of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing detection software to the world’s financial industry with over 60% of the world’s top institutions using their solutions. Searchspace was acquired by Warburg Pincus in 2005 and is now Fortent.
