LONDON— 20 August 2014—Quantcast, a technology company specialising in real-time advertising and audience measurement, today announced the promotion of Matt White to UK Managing Director.

In his new role, Matt will manage Quantcast’s UK operations. Phil Macauley, the previous UK Managing Director, was promoted to EMEA Managing Director earlier this year and now oversees Quantcast across Europe. As Sales Director, White quadrupled headcount within the company’s UK sales division in the space of two years, and helped to secure Concern Worldwide, O2 and Plantronics as new clients. White has been instrumental in developing strong relations with media agencies and brands looking to deliver programmatic display ad campaigns that use proprietary real-time audience profiles for targeting on all devices. Over the next two quarters, the core goals for White in his new role will be increasing the UK team’s revenue base and doubling the staff in the London office.

“I’m excited to take this next step in my career at Quantcast. Our growth in the UK market has been strong to date, and I look forward to driving our team to become the market leader,” says White. “Building on the excellent brand equity that the business has built over its lifespan, my focus will be on further developing the great relationships we have with agencies, brands, and our publisher clients, helping all to build their business and reach their audiences through data, modelling, and sophisticated technology.”

Prior to joining the Quantcast team in 2012, White was Director of Mobile and Online Advertising at Yahoo! for four years, where he oversaw Yahoo!’s display and search business relationships with the WPP agencies, and advanced the business’s mobile and online advertising strategies and services and business partnerships.

Phil Macauley, EU Managing Director at Quantcast, said, “Matt’s performance during his time here at Quantcast has been impressive and very positive for the whole company. Matt’s refreshing and enthusiastic take on sales strategy delivered our expertise clearly to potential clients while ensuring our current clients remained top priority and were receiving the consultation and benefits they needed in this changing media landscape.”
