NEW YORK, NY, December 12, 2016 – Quantcast, a global leader in applying the power of live audiences to programmatic advertising, today announced five key hires to its U.S. sales organization to address the business growth across the region.

In New York City, Brian Murphy joins the company as Vice President of Sales, Head of the East and Central Regions. Murphy arrives at Quantcast with over 20 years of industry experience, most recently spending five years at Unified, where he was Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development. He has also held sales leaderships positions at Google, AdMob, Yahoo and DoubleClick.

Mike DeGennaro also joins Quantcast’s New York City office as Regional Sales Director. DeGennaro joins the company from Netmining, where he served as Director of East Coast Sales. Previously, he spent 12 years at Microsoft as a senior member of the sales organization.

Quantcast has also added three sales team members to its Detroit office, further expanding the company’s footprint in one of the advertising industry’s most important regions.

“The expanded Detroit team will work closely with our partners in the automotive industry to provide best-in-class marketing solutions powered by Quantcast’s superior technology and consumer insights to help them do what is most essential to their business: sell more cars,” stated Keith Lorizio, Vice President of North American Sales, Quantcast. “Along with the arrival of Brian Murphy and Mike DeGennaro in New York City, the Detroit sales team will help to set us up for exponential success in 2017.”

Grant Getz, Regional Sales Director, joins from InMobi, where he was Senior Sales Director, Automotive. Getz also spent nearly 15 years at Microsoft, most recently as Regional Sales Director in Detroit.

Additionally, Holly Wilcox joins as Senior Account Executive after previously working within the sales organizations of AOL and Microsoft and on the agency side at BBDO Detroit. Shannon Marcangelo rounds out the Detroit hires, also joining as Senior Account Executive after spending time within the AOL, Microsoft and MSNBC sales organizations. Marcangelo also worked on the agency side at BBDO in Detroit. Having previously worked together at Microsoft, the three new hires will bring their in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry to the existing Detroit team.
