SAN FRANCISCO, April 13, 2011 Quantcast today announced the appointment of Richard Kosinski as Senior Vice President, Sales. Mr. Kosinski joins the company with twenty years of media, sales and international experience, having provided strategic direction for some of the world’s largest firms in the U.S., Asia and Europe. He will be responsible for scaling Quantcast’s targeted advertising business and driving adoption both in the U.S. and internationally. In this role, Mr. Kosinski reports to Quantcast Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Konrad Feldman.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kosinski has held senior sales management and development roles including Category Development Officer, as well as VP Political Advertising at Yahoo!; SVP, Chief Digital Officer, Westwood One; and ten years as a senior executive in advertising sales at Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal. He has a successful track record of creating monetizable online and mobile advertising platforms. During his time with Yahoo!, he led various business initiatives including sales, research and the development of paid advertising and targeting platforms for the financial services category. He was the co-founder of Yahoo!’s Political Advertising unit and, under his leadership, Yahoo! became the world’s largest online display media platform for paid political communications for the 2008 election.

Mr. Kosinski holds a B.A. in Economics and Finance from the University of Arizona and certificates from executive education programs at both Harvard and Columbia University.
