SYDNEY, December 12, 2016 — Quantcast, a leader in applying the power of big data to digital and mobile advertising, has announced an expanded management team in Australia, as marketers embrace its managed services suite of marketing technology solutions.

The company said its Australian team would soon number forty people, compared to less than ten a year ago. Quantcast Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Andrew Double said the company has recently added fifteen staff across marketing, sales, customer service, and publisher management.

“We have added senior executive experience to the Quantcast team in Australia and New Zealand, as marketers increasingly demand a sophisticated approach to audience-based digital advertising,” Double said.

The company said it has appointed former Inception Digital Commercial Director Guy Burbidge as Sales Director. Burbidge has fifteen years experience in the media agency and publisher market, covering branded content, digital, data and technology. Burbidge, who has also formerly worked as the national digital sales manager for SBS, said he joined Quantcast because of the company’s superior advertising data offerings.

“I am excited to be joining the team at Quantcast, as their reputation in a cluttered market stands out and the results speak for themselves,” said Burbidge. “In a time where everyone is talking about the importance of data, Quantcast is one of the few players around that encompasses data, tech and media for their clients.”

The appointments also include former Sizmek Asia-Pacific Trading Director Dylan Robinson, who has joined as Senior Manager Publisher Development, MCN Head of Ad Operations Nick O’Grady, who takes the position of Customer Success Lead, and former Telstra marketer James Stewart, who assumes the role of Head of Marketing, leading Marketing, PR and Communications.

In New Zealand, former Vevo executive Brendan Muller, has been made Sales Director New Zealand. Quantcast has also appointed ten people across sales, account management and customer operations. Double said the expansion was based on the company’s strong focus on providing real-time audience modelling data to its advertiser clients.

“We believe there is a significant shift underway in the digital advertising technology world as brand advertisers increasingly understand the need to expertly integrate audience data, algorithms and bidding strategies to boost overall performance,” Double said. “The digital advertising industry can be complex, and we believe the key is to customise your strategies to ensure advertisers can focus on delivering personalised messaging at the point of conversion.”

In June, the company also appointed PHD’s head of digital, data and technology Peter Hunter as commercial director, and REA Group’s Darren Morton was added to the Melbourne office.
