These policies and procedures are designed to act as a guideline for candidate travel and expense reimbursements. The purpose of this Policy is to establish the framework and standards for how candidates may spend Quantcast funds while traveling for recruiting reasons and incurring other candidate-reimbursable expenses on behalf of Quantcast.
The Recruiting Team at Quantcast will be responsible for booking travel arrangements (flight and hotel) for all candidates. Candidates who fly in to attend an interview at Quantcast are eligible to receive reimbursements for expenses incurred during the trip. Candidates will be reimbursed $80 per day (capped at $160 total) for all expenses.
Quantcast will reimburse expenses by providing a pre-paid Visa card (PEX Card) that the candidate may use either during or after the trip. The amount of funds on the PEX card will be determined by the number of days the candidate travels to and from the Quantcast interview location (maximum of two days).
As a general example, if the candidate flies to the Quantcast interview location on Monday, interviews on Tuesday and flies home on Tuesday evening, the pre-paid Visa card will be loaded with a total of $160, accounting for $80 each day.
The PEX card has an expiration date of 30 days from the date of your onsite interview. The funds provided on the card must be used within that timeframe or the remaining funds will be transferred back to Quantcast. No exceptions will be made after the 30 days.
Candidates who interview at our San Francisco or Seattle office will receive their PEX card when they arrive for their on-site interview from a Recruiting Coordinator. Candidates who did not receive their cards in person will receive it in the mail – please be sure to email to your Recruiting Coordinator the address where the PEX card should be delivered. Expected time to receive the card is up to 1 week after the interview.
PEX cards can be used at all locations in which Visa is accepted; the PEX cards can only be used physically and will not work with apps such as Uber, Lyft, Venmo, or any similar platforms. You may use the card to pay for your meals, transportation fares, or to reimburse yourself for other expenses you incurred on your trip.
Please note that the PEX cards will only be active for one month starting from your onsite interview date. If after this period you have not used the funds, you have forfeited your right to receive reimbursement for your interview trip.
If you are requesting to be reimbursed for more than the $80 per day limit for a special circumstance, you must submit your travel receipts over email to the Recruiting Coordinator you have been in contact with. Please note that your reimbursement request may be denied at the discretion of the Recruiting team, especially if the total cost incurred is above the daily amount limit.
Travel reimbursements can be made for candidates who travel 50 miles or more to a Quantcast office for an interview. You are eligible to receive a PEX card to reimburse the cost of your travels upon request.
You may be reimbursed for up to $80 for the cost of your commute including public transit, parking fees and ride share services, like Uber or Lyft. Candidates are expected to use the least expensive form of transportation available. Public transportation should be utilized over cabs whenever possible.
Quantcast will not reimburse travel costs above the set amount and may be denied for any reasons deemed by the Recruiting Operations team.
