Quantcast is holding our annual Digital Ad Awards, which recognize excellence in customer ads that follow IAB’s LEAN criteria: light, encrypted, ad-choice supported, and non-invasive. These guiding principles are meant to encourage digital advertisers to create ads that enhance a user’s experience on the open internet. They load quickly, avoid disruptive tactics such as auto-play for sound-enabled creative, and respect data privacy and security. The intent is to engage consumers of advertising in a positive way, making them want to watch–not block–ads.

This year’s nominees have been chosen from thousands of digital ads designed by our Creative Services team or run on the Quantcast Platform. These ads provide LEAN but substantial ad experiences for consumers.

Best Brand Awareness Ad

Nominees in the Best Brand Awareness Ad category build familiarity through distinctive messaging, establishing strong brand recall with their specific audiences. The nominees are:

  • ThirdLove
  • FitFlop

Best Rich Media Ad

Social Richmedia

Nominees in the Best Rich Media Ad category effectively communicated complex messages and incorporated the use of interactive and immersive advanced features like video expanding units. They created truly unique user engagement experiences, going beyond the bounds of standard display ads. The nominees are:

  • Augustinus Bader
  • The Islands of Guernsey

Best Storytelling Ad

The nominees in the Best Storytelling Ad category solved their storytelling challenge as if it was an art form. These brands walked their audiences through carefully constructed narratives that aimed to humanize their brand and emotionally connect with the audience. The nominees are:
