At Quantcast, we are committed to fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging in the workplace. Our goal is to create the best possible environment and experience for our employees, and we call it an intentional culture. And so we are especially proud to be honored by Built In’s 2022 Best Places to Work Awards. Quantcast earned a place on multiple lists, including Best Large Companies to Work For, Best Paying Companies, and Best Places to Work, receiving recognition both nationally and for its offices in San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle.

Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on their compensation, benefits, and company-wide programming. To reflect the benefits that candidates seek most frequently on their site, they weigh criteria that include remote and flexible work opportunities, programs for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and other people-first cultural offerings.

According to Sheridan Orr, Chief Marketing Officer at Built In, “This year saw a record number of entrants–and the past two years fundamentally changed what tech professionals want from work. These honorees have risen to the challenge, evolving to deliver employee experiences that provide the meaning and purpose today’s tech professionals seek.”

Certainly, we agree that companies need to meet shifting employee expectations, especially if they want to stem attrition. Nearly nine in ten (88%) executives surveyed in PWC’s US Pulse Survey said their company is experiencing a higher turnover than normal. In addition, the Labor Department reported Americans quit their jobs at a record pace in August, the highest on record dating back to December 2000. The Great Resignation will follow us into 2022–and to avoid employee exodus, it’s time to deliver on flexibility and employee perks. As organizations search for the best talent and look to increase retention, refining value propositions to focus on making employees feel heard, and treating them as whole individuals, rather than just employees, will be key in 2022. Organizations that refuse to adapt will struggle to hire and retain talent through 2022 and beyond.
