Name:  Jason Phillips

Title: Senior Sales Executive

What is your role at Quantcast and how long have you been working here?

I work in sales covering mid-market brands and agencies primarily based out of Boston and NYC. I have worked at Quantcast just over a year and half.

What is your favorite part about working at Quantcast?

Marketer sentiment about display advertising ranges from distrustful to opportunistic which makes our jobs selling Quantcast’s products quite dynamic and very often rewarding…so my favorite part about working here is unlocking the power of our platform for all different types of advertisers.

What is the most challenging project you’ve worked on at Quantcast?

The industry and our business is scaling rapidly so the most challenging projects I work on deal with defining the procedures and best practices that follow our innovation.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Like most of us, I’m sitting behind a computer the majority of my waking hours so I try to keep active by running trails, playing golf, tennis and touch rugby. I also love to travel and usually get out of the country at least two times a year. Earlier this year, I visited the Mediterranean coast of Turkey and Greece.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to play collegiate baseball at UC Berkeley before becoming an Oakland Athletic. That was my plan. I ended up going to the University of Arizona, playing rugby and becoming a salesperson so I think I didn’t land too far from the tree.

Fun fact:

I cut my own hair and have been doing it for the last 10 years!
