It turns out that many popular web destinations don’t have their own top level domain, but rather are housed as a subdomain of a broader web property. Examples include espn.go.com and answers.yahoo.com . Ever wondered how these properties would rank if they were their own site? Well wonder no more as the Quantcast profiles now sport ‘pseudo-ranks’. Displayed for every subdomain covered by the Quantcast system (that’s millions and millions), the pseudo-rank indicates the rank the destination would have if it were its own property.
You may also spot that we’ve also improved the classification of Top Level Domains and these now sport (real) ranks.
