San Francisco, February 18, 2019 – Quantcast, which owns and operates the world’s largest audience insights and measurement platform on the open internet, today announced the appointment of two senior hires to its legal and policy team. Ari Levenfeld joins as Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) and Guinevere Jobson joins as Senior Corporate Counsel. Both will be based in Quantcast’s San Francisco headquarters and report into Quantcast’s Chief Legal Officer, Michael Blum.

Mr Levenfeld joins Quantcast from Sizmek where he held the role of CPO for two years. In his new role, Mr Levenfeld will be responsible for Quantcast’s global privacy strategy, regulatory compliance and risk management advisory across the company’s 700 employees and 20 offices worldwide. His previous roles include positions in the legal teams at Rocket Fuel – prior to its acquisition by Sizmek – and IAC, owner of brands including Match.com, Vimeo, and Angie’s List.

Ms Jobson joins Quantcast from Fenwick & West, a Silicon Valley law firm with a focus on the technology sector where she spent more than 11 years litigating and advising across a wide spectrum of issues including intellectual property, commercial matters, consumer protection laws and privacy. Previously, she was a visiting attorney in Paris, France focused on intellectual property with London-based law firm Allen & Overy.

Founded in 2006, Quantcast applies machine learning technology and sophisticated modelling to its live first-party data drawn from more than 100 million online destinations. The insights generated help publishers better understand their audiences and radically improve the effectiveness of their online advertising campaigns.

In May 2018, Quantcast launched Quantcast Choice, the world’s first widely available consent management platform (CMP) to help publishers comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). , helping thousands of publishers communicate consumer consent under the new regulations.
