Get golf information, golf tournament updates and golf news from the official site of the PGA of America. [Description from dmoz]
You have to be a real swinger to get into this organization. The Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA) is the world's largest professional sports organization with more than 28,000 members. PGA members are primarily club pros, but most touring professionals are also PGA members in addition to holding membership in the separate PGA TOUR organization. The PGA conducts some 40 tournaments and runs four major golf competitions: the Ryder Cup, the PGA Championship, the Senior PGA Championship, and the PGA Grand Slam of Golf. It also operates the PGA Learning Center, a golf instruction school, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Rodman Wanamaker, a Philadelphia department store tycoon, organized the PGA in 1916.
