Quantcast Silverlight API Guide

The Quantcast Silverlight plug-in allows you to easily gather traffic, demographic, geographic, and business data on all of your Silverlight-based assets. To use this plug-in you need to install the Microsoft Silverlight Analytics Framework (MSAF).

There are three very simple fields that need to be filled out in order to utilize Quantcast for Silverlight:

Publisher ID – This is the unique account ID that should be used across all of your Silverlight and non-Silverlight assets. To generate this ID, sign up for a free Quantcast account. Go the ‘Home’ area of your account and click ‘Generate Tag’. Notice that there is a ‘qacct’ field in the _qoptions array that begins with ‘p-‘. Populate the “Publisher ID” field with this value.

Labels – Use labels to create rollups on a per-impression basis of all of your web assets. Aggregate whole sites, pages, or any other asset using labels and we’ll provide separate reach, demographic, geographic, and business data. Read about audience segments.
