Overview
As a major wireless phone company, we know there is no more aggressive environment than the online advertising, lead generation and acquisition business. We compete with carriers and an extensive network of marketing companies for consumers’ attention.

Challenge
On top of this, margins are tight, so we wanted to see if Quantcast could produce higher conversion rates versus our existing tactics. Our lead generation partner has a deep arsenal of ads that do a great job of getting users to click, but we need a conversion boost to make our purchase inventory translate into improved ROI and enhanced scale.

How Quantcast Did It
In a matter of days we were able to build a Quantcast Lookalike model of our audience by using converting mobile customers. How? By piggybacking Quantcast on our existing ad serving code. Next we ran campaigns with two existing inventory partners, comparing the resulting conversion rates (lookalike vs.non-lookalike).

Results
Quantcast delivered a 76% increase in conversion rates above the marketer’s optimized content-targeted campaign. Our lookalike data allowed our lead generation to achieve significantly higher conversion rates over content-targeted inventory purchased from the same inventory sources.
