Better known as Havertys, the company sells its own brand of furniture (launched 2000) as well as name-brand home furnishings and accessories in the middle to upper-middle price range. Private-label Havertys Collections and Havertys Premium Collections carry higher margins. The furniture seller has 120 showrooms in about 20 southern and central US states. Havertys is growing by enlarging or replacing smaller stores in high-growth markets. The retailer also sells bedding products in its showrooms from Sealy, Serta, and Tempur-Pedic.
