CompuServe's official site. [Description from dmoz]
Did you know CompuServe was still around? It is, but parent company America Online isn't spreading the word much. Subscriber numbers have been falling, as AOL has stopped marketing the service, but CompuServe still has users. CompuServe Interactive Services offers its users Internet access along with features such as e-mail, instant messaging, online shopping, news, and various content channels, most from ultimate parent Time Warner. AOL had positioned CompuServe as a value brand in the US and as a service for professional business-oriented users outside the US. AOL has since decided to stop actively marketing the CompuServe brand, while maintaining existing customers (or trying to migrate them elsewhere). [Description from Hoover's]
